I'm up to 40,000 + words now. This book is much more challenging than Fallon's World was. I have to stop and wonder why that is. My protagonist is easier to write than Fallyn or her sister Kira, so that's not it... but I am adding in a great more detail and I know this book will not stop with only 50,000 words. When I wrote Fallyn's World I thought that the book had to be exactly 50,000 words. You should have seen me adding ideas and subtracting words and making a big mess out of the end of my book. It has all been corrected now and changed a great deal from the original draft but...
As I was saying before derailing myself, this book is going over the required minimum number just because there is more story to tell. Oh and by the way it now has what I think is a good name, The Poseidon's Daughter. I like it, what do you think? Someday when I ask a question someone will actually answer me.
I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. My familiy celebrates on a different day. This year that day will be Saturday. I'm looking forward to it. I am also taking my CCW class on Saturday. For those that don't know what that is a CCW is a Concealed Weapons permit. I'm getting weapons certified on Saturday morning so I can apply at the Sheriff's Office during the week to get the permit.
I had Greg touch up my tattoo today. It's looking much nicer now, not that it ever looked bad. Next week we're going to finish up the vines and put in some small butterflys. I will make sure I add pictures when it's done.
Okay, it's back to the novel now. I only have a few days left to reach the 50K mark. Have a beautiful day!!!
