I've been trying to get Xena completely uploaded and then I wanted to add another page and the entire website decided that it didn't like me and I had to call Vista again. This time I got a tech that walked through it with me. Yet we still did not find a reason for the website to be acting the way that it was, but she did show me a new trick for me to use. I had never even heard of subpages before, now I have. Honor Bound now has subpages for the individual chapters. This makes it easier to upload and it might make it easier for you all to read as well. Please accept my apology for the un-edited chapters. I know that grammatically they are a mess. But the story is there and hopefully I will be able to find the time to go back and fix the grammar later. I actually had a difficult time when writing the books to keep in the proper tense. I have no idea why. Perhaps I wanted the stories to live so much that I kept changing them from a type of passive past tense to a present tense, sometimes switching several times even in a single paragraph. It's horrible.
I am still loading the pages even as I write this. I decided to update my blog when the page builder decided to take forever to save my page. Anyway... I uploaded an article that I wrote recently. The magazine did not pick it up because they were not going to run a theme in their magazine that it would fit into so... I put it here. I will write something else for them if I can find their upcoming themes. The only ones that I saw were for 2012, maybe that's a typo.
In other news I am just getting well from a bad head cold which made my head feel like lead stuffed with cotton. So I haven't written a word all week. But that doesn't mean that I wasn't thinking on it. For some reason the ending of this book is causing me a headache. As a stand alone book it needs an ending that can be expanded into another book or just one that can sit on its own. I think that I'm going to use the chapter that my muse gave me last week to help cement that ending. In doing so Rolf, my Military General will finally step out of the shadow of the Conclave.
When Rolf took over the Military, he anticipated a swift victory and then his job would become all but ceremonial. But he is quickly learning that it will not be quick and he might be stuck in the position for life. This is not what he had bargained for. I did give him a love interest that will help bolster his life and I will be giving him the twins later in the book. Still the news that he finds out about their enemies will rock his world and cause him to take a hard look at what he's doing.
Okay, the page builder glitched again. I got to get back to it.
Don't forget the Zombie run or the March and be good to each other.
