I made a mistake

OMG!!!! I made a huge mistake on yesterday's blog entry... Herlong is not Hawthorn. Hawthorn is where those valiant Marines lost their lives but it is not where we went to today to qualify, we went to Herlong. Herlong is about three times larger than Hawthorn (as a base) and is actually closer to Reno. But let me tell you the dirt out there is like moon dust and it clings to everything. Anyway I apologize greatly for the error, I had those men on my mind when I got up in the morning and it apparently bled into my thoughts so when I sat down to write if just came out. Our Air base was honored to be the ones that ferried the Marines home. It was a great honor.
For those that joined me and my nieces at the Zombie run today I know that you had a blast and probably got as sunburned as I did. It was worth every second of discomfort! If I ever do a Zombie 5K again I will still be a Zombie. I can't tell you how much fun I had. I managed to get about 10 flags from weary runners, which means that I ate their brains! Ha! It was a kick!
I have yet to look at the pictures that my nephew took but I have the camera right here and will upload them in a minute then I will update the front page of my website with a gallery. So stay tuned.
Tomorrow morning at 7 am I'm going to be in Carson City in front of the State Legislature building. I will be opening the march with a prayer. I will also have copies of Veteran of the Silent War on hand if anyone wants to purchase a copy. One third of all profits still go to the ELI group. I ordered copies of The Demon Cleanser but they have not yet arrived.
Okay, so that's the news for tonight. I'm exhausted and still want to upload those pics. But primarily I wanted to apologize for my error in yesterday's blog.
Hopefully I will see at least some of you tomorrow morning. Be good to each other.
